A Greater Gateway | Lynn, MA - 2023




What makes a great gateway? What are the social and physical qualities that help immigrants and refugees thrive? And to what extent can things like housing, transportation, open space, urban design and economic development better serve the needs of immigrants and refugees? In Spring 2023, we worked with the City of Lynn and other community-based organizations to identify how to make Lynn a greater gateway city that welcomes, integrates, and supports immigrants and refugees and created a report outlining research findings, design recommendations, and project proposals for the City.
